Gen Image Studio — Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Gen Image Studio is a private, internal tool operated by 8 O’Clock, LLC and used by its developer to publish original video content to social media accounts that the company owns. It is not offered to the public, is not distributed, and has no users other than its developer. There is no sign-up, and no third party can authenticate to it.
What it stores
For each social media account connected to the tool, it stores:
- an authentication token, stored encrypted at rest;
- the account’s identifier and public display name;
- for each item published, the resulting post’s identifier and URL, so the tool can record where each piece of content has been posted.
It also stores the video and image files the developer produced, and records of which items have been published to which accounts.
What it does not do
- It does not collect personal information from any other person.
- It does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
- It does not sell, share, or transfer data to any third party.
- It does not display data from connected accounts to anyone other than the developer.
YouTube API Services
This tool uses YouTube API Services to upload the developer’s own video content to YouTube channels that the company owns, and to read back the status of those uploads. It does not access any channel other than its own.
Use of the tool is therefore subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Authorization granted to this tool can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page. Stored tokens are deleted when an account is disconnected.
Retention
Data is retained while the tool is in use, and is deleted when an account is disconnected or on request.
